All “Terrain” shorts come with a CoolMax Chamois (padding) that is ergonomically designed to wick away sweat while providing protection to your ichial tuberosities or your "sit bones". The antibacterial CoolMax padding is sewn into tight Lycra shorts or in the case of baggy mountain bike shorts (MTB shorts) the CoolMax padding comes in a separate under short meaning the mountain bike shorts can also be worn as casual wear without the CoolMax under short.
